Even B&M Refinishers high-
tech facility has an original
factory-look.

At B&M Refinishers, we have specific
areas dedicated to different stages
of our work. It’s very similar to how
a vehicle manufacturer might actually
work, and for the very same reasons:
efficiency and quality.

Area 1 is where we disassemble,
panel-beat, fabricate and re-assemble.
In here we have a totally separate
booth too, where the first stages of
preparation, sanding and priming are
done. So, dust is kept well away from
the area where the finish is finally
baked, to exacting factory standards.

Area 1 also houses our inverted spot-
welder that can spot-weld the latest
types of steel. Many late European
vehicles have complex aluminium and
steel body structures, and this body-
work is only repaired correctly by the
bonding & welding of aluminium to
steel. This requires a very high level
of specialised skill: something that is
one of our strengths. (In area 1, we
have our chassis re-alignment system.
This measures, then re-calibrates the
suspension back to the correct factory
specifications and settings).

Area 2 at B&M Refinishers, is where
cutting, polishing & detailing is done,
before the vehicle is finally ready for
the customer. (This all happens only
after the vehicle has been painted to
perfection in area 3). Incidentally, we
will only use Glasurit paints, because
they are factory-specified by many of
Europe’s prestige car-makers.

Area 3. The next important stage
happens-the baking process. Here in
our high-tech, low-bake oven, we can
return the latest prestige vehicles back
to their factory-look, using the manu-
facturer’s recommended re-finishing
systems. (This is essential on newer
models with ceramic, scratch-resistant
clear coats, needing very special treat-
ment during the baking process).
